A. Called to Order at 4:30 p.m.
Approve minutes from October 14, 2014 meeting. Motion by to accept minutes as presented, second by
- Committee discusses food truck at maritime facilities. Motion by Jones for food trucks at marina, second by Haynes. Motion does not carry. Committee was concerned about not having enough information regarding available space, effects on current operations, safety, and traffic.
- 2. Jones starts discussion of hoist at seal harbor pier. Matt Knox speaks for need of hoist to help in congestion at end of ramp and would keep area cleaner. Motion by Savage for a hoist to be installed in Seal Harbor, second by Jones. Motion carried.
- 1. Discussion non-resident usage fee initiated by Tom Grindle of Seal Harbor. Matt Knox brings up the idea of a commercial non-resident mooring fee. Motion by Moore for a $500 non-resident commercial fishing and aquaculture, usage fee for Town of Mount Desert facilities. Second by Fernald. Motion carried.
